Our Staff

Our staff is made up of only highly trained, experienced, and compassionate clinicians. All clinicians are licensed professionals, and all maintain more than the required number of Continuing Education Units.

Members of our professional staff meet state and national requirements, and have attained the highest level of preparation for hearing health care service delivery. Our patients can be confident that our professionals are qualified to administer comprehensive hearing health care services.

Brad Baldwin, Au.D.
Doctor of Audiology



Dr. Brad Baldwin, president of Carolina Hearing Group, received his AuD from the University of Florida. He earned his BA and MA from Radford University in Radford, VA where he served as the president for the National Student Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Dr. Baldwin holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. When not in the office, Dr. Baldwin enjoys travel, golf, and boating with his wife and two sons.


Rhea Gage, Au.D.
Doctor of Audiology



Dr. Gage began her career path toward Audiology at Denver University where she earned her Bachelor of Arts and Sciences, majoring in both Speech Pathology & Audiology and Elementary Education. She then attended the University of Florida where she received her MA in Audiology and continued at Arizona School of Health Sciences where she completed her AuD. Dr. Gage is not only a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology, but she is also very actively involved with the deaf and hard of hearing communities. Dr. Gage has recently developed an interest in sky-diving and enjoys spending time with her three daughters.


Jaren Bates, Au.D.
Doctor of Audiology



Dr. Jaren Bates, who is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology, earned her AuD at Central Michigan University. Before earning her doctorate, Dr. Bates received a BA in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Maine. In addition to having her Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, Dr. Bates takes special interest in newborn and pediatric diagnostics. In her leisure time, she enjoys reading, traveling, and photography.


Kelly Knolhoff, Au.D.
Doctor of Audiology



Dr. Kelly Knolhoff received her Doctor of Audiology degree from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. She earned her bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana in Champaign, Illinois. Dr. Knolhoff is not only a fellow and member of the American Academy of Audiology, but she was also a recipient of the Lions Club award in 2004, 2005, and 2006. Dr. Knolhoff hopes to help each of her patients enjoy a fuller life through improved communication, up-to-date technology, and a high standard of care. She also enjoys reading, traveling, running, and roller blading in her spare time.
