Brad Baldwin, Au.D.
Doctor of Audiology
Location: Durham Office
Dr. Brad Baldwin, president of Carolina Hearing Group, received his AuD from the University of Florida. He earned his BA and MA from Radford University in Radford, VA where he served as the president for the National Student Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Dr. Baldwin is now a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and has his Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. When not in the office, Dr. Baldwin enjoys travel, golf, and boating with his wife and two boys.



Jaren Bates, Au.D.
Doctor of Audiology
Location: Albemarle Office
Dr. Jaren Bates, who is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology, earned her AuD at Central Michigan University. Before earning her doctorate, Dr. Bates received a BA in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Maine. In addition to having her Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, Dr. Bates takes special interest in newborn and pediatric diagnostics. In her leisure time, she enjoys reading, traveling, and photography.




Robert Dowling, Au.D.
Doctor of Audiology
Location: Rexwoods Office
Dr. Robert Dowling, a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology, began his path to audiology at Nazareth College of Rochester, where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology. He then continued on to State University of New York in Buffalo, NY where he received his Master of Arts in Audiology and finally earned his Doctorate from Arizona School of Health Sciences in Mesa, AZ. Dr. Dowling offers over 13 years of experience in hearing care and continues to pursue the latest developments in the field of Audiology in order to provide his patients with the highest level of care. In his leisure time, Dr. Dowling enjoys playing golf, hiking, racquetball, and kayaking.



Rhea Gage, Au.D.
Doctor of Audiology
Location: Rexwoods Office
Dr. Gage began her career path toward Audiology at Denver University where she earned her Bachelor of Arts and Sciences, majoring in both Speech Pathology & Audiology and Elementary Education. She then attended the University of Florida where she received her MA in Audiology and continued at Arizona School of Health Sciences where she completed her AuD. Dr. Gage is not only a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology, but she is also very actively involved with the deaf and hard of hearing communities. Dr. Gage has recently developed an interest in sky-diving and enjoys spending time with her three daughters.




Radhika Gupta, Au.D.
Doctor of Audiology
Location: Millbrook Office
Dr. Radhika Gupta, who earned her AuD from Pennsylvania College of Optometry, is certified through the American Board of Audiology, and she is also a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology. After receiving her Bachelor of Science degree from All India Institute of Speech and Hearing in Mysore, Karnataka, India, Dr. Gupta traveled to Bloomington, Indiana where she attended Indiana University and earned her Master's degee. Dr. Gupta emphasizes personal care and attention for her patients in conjunction with the most up-to-date and state-of-the-art technology to help overcome hearing difficulty. She also enjoys traveling with her husband and jewelry-making.




Kelly Knolhoff, Au.D.
Doctor of Audiology
Location: Charlotte/Albemarle Offices
Dr. Kelly Knolhoff received her Doctor of Audiology degree from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana in Champaign, Illinois. Dr. Knolhoff is not only a fellow and member of the American Academy of Audiology, but she was also a recipient of the Lions Club award in 2004, 2005, and 2006. Dr. Knolhoff hopes to help each of her patients enjoy a fuller life through improved communication, up-to-date technology, and a high standard of care. She also enjoys reading, traveling, running, and roller blading in her spare time.




Brady Schwab
Licensed Audiologist
Location: Durham/Rexwoods Offices
Brady Schwab began his journey toward audiology in Greensboro, NC where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. He then continued at East Carolina University where he received his master's degree in Speech-Language and Auditory Pathology and later became a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and a licensed Audiologist in both North and South Carolina. Brady enjoys golf, volleyball, traveling, sailing, and spending time with his wife.
