Darla Baldwin believes that the ability to share experiences, enjoy conversations, and engage in meaningful relationships is critical to a happy and fulfilling life. She earned both her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in communication sciences and disorders from Radford University in Virginia, and she holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence in speech-language pathology. As co-owner and Vice President of Carolina Hearing Group, Darla manages the daily operations of our practice. She and Brad were humbled and honored to receive Audigy’s Anthony Positive Thinking Award in 2017 and the inaugural Rich Burba Legacy Award in 2018.

She has been married to Brad for 28 years, and together they are the proud parents of two wonderful children, Eli and Seth. When she’s not in the office, Darla is active in her church and enjoys reading, running, camping, boating, and travel.

She says, “I love the relationships we develop with our patients. So many of them have known us since our children were babies, and they still ask about them every time they come in. That kind of connection with people over a long period of time is rare in today’s world, so it’s wonderful to have that level of trust from someone.”
