Dr. Samantha Vrooman joined Carolina Hearing Group in 2015 because she was eager to be a part of such a genuine and passionate team doing what she loves. Dr. Vrooman earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in communication studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and her Doctor of Audiology degree from the University of Florida. She loves getting to know her patients on a personal level and knowing that she’s making a difference in their lives by reconnecting them to their families.
Dr. Vrooman had a great foundation for Carolina Hearing Group-level service before becoming part of our team: she worked at Walt Disney World for the four years she was in graduate school, earning a Mousters Degree in leadership from Disney University. She demonstrates her deep commitment to giving back to others through her volunteer work: conducting newborn hearing screenings on the weekends at a local hospital and serving as part of a team that fit over 1,500 people with hearing devices in Toluca, Mexico, on a 2015 mission trip. In her spare time, she enjoys running, traveling, playing board games, and spending time with family and friends.
